About

I’m a storyteller. Regardless of the medium, I search for compelling stories and relate these stories honestly and artfully.

I’m a native New Mexican and proud of it (as anyone who meets me quickly finds out). A traveler at heart, I’ve lived in Tacoma, Washington; Dublin, Ireland; and Tempe and Phoenix Arizona; and traveled to a dozen countries. I aim to spend my days traveling the world, meeting fascinating people, and sharing the stories of these experiences. If that doesn’t work out, I plan on becoming my dog’s personal assistant.

I completed my undergraduate degree in communication studies at the University of Puget Sound, and earned my master’s degree at the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.

Currently, I serve as the content editor of Highroads, the member magazine for AAA Arizona, overseeing the online edition. I am also penning the 2014 New Mexico Vacation Guide, published by New Mexico Magazine. Finally, as a freelance social-media brand manager and strategist, I engage dynamically with online audiences to grow businesses.
